GAP Year Apprenticeship
Tech25’s GAP Year Apprenticeship Program offers recent high school graduates a paid, hands-on pathway into the live event and broadcast production industry. Over the course of a year, participants train in audio, lighting, video, and stagecraft while working alongside industry professionals. This program bridges the gap between school and career by equipping young adults with the skills, experience, and certifications needed to secure employment with production companies, unions, and media organizations across the region.
This is a one year paid apprenticeship. Sorry this year if full, but check back next year.
This program was designed for recent high school grads that are unsure of their next move as they transition into the workforce. Most do not have plans for post secondary and the GAP YEAR program was designed to address their needs and give them vocational skills that can help them earn a living wage as they decide their next steps.
Above 4 of the GAP Year students worked as stagehands and event staff at the Pittonkatonk festival.
