Tech25 is thrilled to welcome acclaimed pianist, producer, composer, and arranger Ray Angry for an inspiring talk on "Finding Your Voice as an Artist." Through stories from his extensive career—including his work on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, his affiliation with The Roots, and partnerships with legendary artists like Queen Latifah—Ray will explore the nuances of working in different creative spaces. About Ray Angry
A classically trained pianist with deep roots in gospel, jazz, and global pop, Ray Angry is one of the most sought-after musicians in the industry today. His versatility and visionary leadership as an artistic director have made him an invaluable collaborator to an impressive roster of top-tier artists, including Jeff Beck, Wynton Marsalis, Sting, Ms. Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, Christina Aguilera, and many more.

As the CEO and Founder of Mister Goldfinger Music Group, Ray has released multiple projects, including Ray Angry One and Producer Mondays. His television and film work includes composing for Inside Amy Schumer, Life & Beth, Descendant, and ESPN’s Up for Debate. Additionally, Ray’s symphonic debut, Black Athena ~ Power, recently premiered with the Lexington Symphony, and he is set to unveil several orchestral works in 2025.

Currently, Ray can be seen as a member of The Roots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, bringing his dynamic artistry to late-night audiences worldwide.

Before his talk at Tech25, Ray Angry will take the stage in Pittsburgh for "Late Night Stories: An Evening with Artist-In-Residence Ray Angry, Featuring Felicia Collins, Will Lee, and Joe Saylor" at MCG Jazz on February 15, 2025. This special event will feature two performances at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM EST, where audiences will experience behind-the-scenes stories and outstanding musical performances from some of late-night television’s most talented musicians.

Joining Ray will be the legendary Felicia Collins, Will Lee, and Joe Saylor.
