1Hood Select is a program where experts in their respective fields host a class and share their expertise and knowledge with others.

This edition of 1Hood Select will be hosted by 1Hood DJ, Union Member, & Pittsburgh DJ Battle Champion DJ QRX & Tech25 Teaching Artist, Festival/Club Killer/Pittsburgh DJ Battle Champion DJ B-Renn!

In this workshop, we will teach you the "basics" and things you need to know to kickstart your DJ journey! This workshop is for people and DJs of any skill level, from beginners, all the way to experts!

All you'll need is to bring yourself to this workshop. No equipment is needed! We will have a supply of laptops and Pioneer DDJ Rev-1 for everyone to use and practice on.

The goal by the end of this workshop is for everyone who joins to know how to make their transition!
