OVERVIEW
Get and introduction to broadcast audio and comms hardware and process. Discover how broadcast audio is designed and managed through the mixers point of view.This is an opportunity to sit in the mixers chair and follow along on an actual MLB post season game. Led by Dave Bjornson and Doug Deems.
Overall employment of broadcast and sound engineering technicians is projected to grow 8 percent from 2018 to 2028, faster than the average for all occupations. Employment of audio and visual equipment technicians is projected to grow 12 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations.
This class breaks down the jobs, equipment, and certifications needed to work in this fast paced environment. We will break down how these types of crews are staffed, what qualifications you need to work in the field, and reanact live sports events on our state of the art console.
